So much FASHION

One of our favourite things about living in London is the fact that we're totally spoilt for choice when it comes to the worlds best exhibitions and any lady of London will know how many fantastic, fashion exhibitions are on in the city right now!
Starting with (our favourite, let's be honest) the Horst exhibition at the V&A
! The museum describes it being "...the definitive retrospective of the work of Horst P. Horst (1906-99), one of the 20th century’s master photographers." Master is certainly the word!
His work is so well documented in this exhibition as are the era's in which he worked. Beginning with black and white, thirties beauties draped over couches in opulent gowns through to a land of surrealism and quirk, then onto poppy colour and fashion models! His work was constantly evolving to match the time while he forever remained "a magician of light".
A true icon of fashion photography Horst's career exceeded an impressive 60 years. His delicately deep photographs stay in your mind for days. You simply cannot miss this ladies (finished 4th of January)!
For all the wool lovers out there, The Fashion and Textile Museum have a fantastic exhibition on knitwear
at the moment.
This was a total A-Z of fashion knitwear! The whole gang were there from detailed works of the Schiaparelli in the 30s to the conceptual knits of Vivienne Westwood from more recent times.
Head down to Bermondsey Street and check out this wooly wonderland, you'll be tempted to get out those knitting needles (until Jan 18th).
The Design Museum has fabulous exhibition on right now Women Fashion Power
. An array of powerful woman are covered from Princesses to CEOs.
You'll get to see famous outfits from some of our favourite gals such as Charlotte Dellal and Diane Von Furstenberg. It also offers a comprehensive overview of women's fashion history from the suffragettes to modern day fashion.
You'll leave this exhibition feeling inspired, educated and brimming with 'girlpower' (finishes 26th of April).
So check them out starlets! Perfect for a rainy Saturday or girly outing xx
